"Send Noods" in Cagayan de Oro: A Cozy Spot for Comfort Food Lovers

Send Noods

I recently stumbled upon this small, somewhat hidden spot in Cagayan de Oro called “Send Noods,” located on Tiano-Akut street, in Unit #1 of the Antolin Building (right across from Balsa). At first, it was the playful name that caught my attention, but what really kept me coming back was the food and the vibe of the place.

The Vibe

“Send Noods” has a laid-back, unpretentious atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels like it could be your go-to for any occasion. Whether you’re on a casual date, hanging out with friends, or just in need of some comfort food after a long day, it works. The location is pretty central, so it’s easy to get to if you’re around the city.

The Food

The menu offers a variety of dishes, so there’s likely something for everyone. If you’re into ramen, they’ve got a few options. The Tonkotsu Ramen is a solid choice if you’re craving something warm and savory. It’s not the fanciest ramen you’ll find, but for ₱98, it does the job.

If you’re looking for something a bit different, they have Stir-Fry Noodles (₱88) that come with beef or shrimp. It’s a decent option if you’re not in the mood for soup. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup (₱168) is another comforting dish, with tender beef and a flavorful broth.

One dish that stood out to me was the Laksa Noodle Soup (₱175). It’s got that spicy, coconut-y flavor that you either love or hate, but if you’re a fan of laksa, it’s worth trying.

More Than Just Noodles

“Send Noods” also offers a range of dumplings. The Xiao Long Bao (₱88) is a solid pick if you like those little soup-filled dumplings. They’re not the best I’ve had, but they’re definitely enjoyable. For something a bit heartier, the Shrimp Potstickers (₱130) are crispy and satisfying.

They’ve got some interesting takes on fried food, too. The Salted Egg Chicken and Nori Chicken are pretty good if you’re into those flavors. It’s the kind of fried food that pairs well with a cold soda.

Desserts and More

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, they have Sweet Bao (₱85) with options like taro, strawberry, or chocolate. It’s a nice little treat to end your meal.

Final Thoughts

I wouldn’t call “Send Noods” a life-changing culinary experience, but it’s definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Cagayan de Oro. The prices are reasonable, the food is satisfying, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s one of those places where you can just relax, have a good meal, and enjoy the company you’re with.

So if you’re in the area and feel like trying something new, maybe swing by and see what you think. We’re located on Tiano-Akut street, Unit #1 of the Antolin Building (right across from Balsa) and we’re open every day from 12 noon to 9:30 PM. It might just become your new go-to spot.
